Stability |
The strength of System 180 lies in the patented dimple feature that is present on every component.
During production each tube is flattened at the end whilst simultaneously having a hole surrounded by 4 dimples punched. These dimples are convex on one side and concave on the other. Tubes with flattened ends make up the width, height and diagonal components.
A different process is used to create the tubes that make up the depth elements. These "connecting bars" have an 8 mm thread crimped in either end to accomodate the 8 mm bolt that pulls the joint together. |
