System 180 is developed and produced in Berlin, its place of origin. Invented by the architect Jürg Steiner for an exhibition construction and initially manufactured by the Museumstechnik GmbH, the company has since developed into an extensive furnishings system. On the factory premises in Berlin-Schöneberg the product development, marketing and distribution departments work hand in hand with the production, logistics and assembly teams. This not only allows for strong innovation, but also leaves room for flexibility in the conversion of individual customer wishes.
Aside from being found on their factory premises, System 180 can be sighted in its own showroom in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The main focus being on Living Accommodation in combination with exclusive design products by young European designers and manufacturers.

In 2006 System 180 took over the distribution for the Spanish chair producer AKABA in Germany as a general agency. The System work stations, desks and conference tables can be superbly combined with chair designs, such as by the renown Jorge Pensi.
